This is one of those rare occasions for me where I wish I would have read the reviews on the product and heeded the negative review.I was very excited for this calendar, I'm always trying new ways to stay on top of my organization and the excitement that an author had designed this calendar specifically for authors made me eager to buy it.
I just received my calendar in the mail and the excitement was short lived.There are spaces to jot ideas down for one novel, then the calendar portion was a monthly calendar (a plus is that you fill it in yourself so you can start whenever). Then the back of the book is blank pages for notes.
The way I read the description, I honestly thought it would be bigger, with more of the planning and spaces for ideas interspersed with the months. The books is very thin and not a nice size to carry around.
The skull design is disappointing.
Overall, this purchase is a rare one in which if I wasn't too lazy, I would probably return it to Amazon. It was expensive once you factored in shipping (almost $18).
I think I will be heading to a bookstore to find a better way to track what I need to do.
I think in the future, I wilol stick with what I can visually hold in my hands rather than trusting something off the internet, especially when taking int account personal preference for calendars, agendas etc.
I would caution anyone considering buying this, do you want a simple monthly calendar like the one you can buy from your local charity for a good cause just to have a little bit of room to jot a few ideas on? I would invest in the charity, unless that is exactly what you had hoped this would be.

I love that I now have a separate calendar to write my monthly and daily word count goals in! My personal author calendar gets so overwhelming sometimes that my goals were getting lost! It's fun and thin enough to accompany my bulky personal calendar perfectly!
I enjoy the layout of this calendar and even have a little fun coloring it in!
Words can not express how much I love this calendar! I use it all the time. It keeps my crazy author mind on track and making deadlines.
Wasn't what I expected, I could have just bought a portable calendar to track everything, I thought this was going to be specific to the writer in us

Absolutely love this calendar! Not only is it cute, it's got space for me to flesh out my characters, plot, and setting. But the calendar isn't preset so you can start at any time, and there's plenty of room to plan out my writing days. Highly recommend it.
I was initially very excited for this calendar. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by it, despite some glowing reviews posted on . This product needs pictures of what is inside it. The "preview" does not show enough content for you to know what is really contained in the pages of this book. Please be aware that this notebook is very thin... barely any room to keep tabs on characters if you're taking notes for reference for future chapters.

- Very childish. The notes section has "Dia de los Muertos" styled skulls all over it.
- The notebook is VERY thin. Not enough pages for a serious writer.
- The calendar section barely had any room for any additional notes.
- It's like having a normal planner. Not sure how this differs from a regular planner. Slapping on "Writers Block A Calendar for Author's" doesn't change the fact that this book is a planner, and a basic one at that. It adds no true value for the writer.
-Not sure how anyone can flesh out characters on this notebook. There are only two sections A monthly calendar and a notes section.

-The calendar is manual, so you can adjust the dates as you need it.
- There are some benefits to the writer, but not enough for a serious writer.
All in all, I liked the idea behind the book. I might have expected too much... and the skulls are more of a "personal" preference. I wish it was thicker, with more tools for a writer to use to organize their thoughts.
